The avengers (1960)

The avengers is a wacky 1960s spy show. This show was big because it was one of the first shows to have a female side kick who was bad ass, she was athletic very clever and good at fighting. The show has a lot of witty moments like when the main character gets shrunken down to a really small size. The shows CGI is very outdated but i assume in its time it was great. The shows main character was a classic gentleman spy, he has a massive collection of cars and a lot of gadgets

Cuffs

Cuffs is a cop drama show set in modern day Brighton. The two main characters are two cops Jake and Ryan. One thing that stood out at the start was Jake being gay. I think they made him gay to appeal to the gay community, they will appeal to it because they are being represented in a TV show.  The show seems quite serious with some very dark parts like suicide, racial abuse and child abduction. Despite its dark points the show can have its moments of humor and a lot of clever moments. The show seems quite realistic unlike a lot of cop dramas where every crime involves shoot out.
